The climate is subtropical, tropical or tropical savannah and we are 1.052m (or 3.451 feet) above sea level.
During the daytime, the temperature is between 80-90F (26-32C) and, in the evenings and early mornings, it is between 60-70F (15-20C). The temperature doesn’t really change much, except for the rain!
We only have two seasons here, which are defined by rain:
The rainy season (from October until April) and, the dry season (from May until September). The dry season is our “winter” and the rainy season is our summer. The coldest months are June and July and the temperature can drop pretty drastically in the mornings and nights. Cecilia sometimes wears her Swedish winter clothes in these months, but of course only in the evenings and mornings. In the days it gets really hot again, and the sun heats everything up. Check weather.com or other websites online to have a weather forecast for the two weeks when you will travel to Abadiânia. Don’t let the rain (or rainy season) discourage you from coming here. The rainy season is our favorite season. It’s really not raining all the time. It usually rains A LOT for a little bit and then the sun comes out again. It’s beautiful and green.
